Since 2008, A Woman's Image has been helping women throughout Royal Oak and Metro Detroit with wigs, hair toppers, breast forms, mastectomy bras, and certified fittings.
A Woman's Image was previously located in Clinton Township before moving to our current Royal Oak location.
Women come to us for many different reasons. Some are preparing for chemotherapy. Some are experiencing hair loss from alopecia, thinning hair, or other medical conditions. Others are looking for solutions after breast surgery. menopause, or lymphedema.
No matter what brings you to A Woman's Image, we take the time to listen, answer questions, and help you choose what works best for you.
Our Story
A Woman's Image was founded in 2008 by Nancy Przeklas and Stacy Ecker.
Nancy brings over 20 years of experience working with women after breast surgery. As an ABC/BOC Certified Mastectomy Fitter, she helps women choose breast forms, mastectomy bras, and other products that help them feel comfortable in their everyday lives. For Nancy, the relationships she builds with her clients are the most meaningful part of this work.
Stacy, a licensed cosmetologist, found her calling after her father's cancer diagnosis led her to specialize in wigs for women experiencing medical hair loss. She found great meaning in helping women choose wigs that looked natural and made them feel comfortable.
Their shared experience shaped the foundation of A Woman's Image.
Stacy passed away and is deeply missed. Nancy continues to lead A Woman's Image with a dedicated team of cosmetologists.
